Eating breakfast for dinner is our favorite meal. For unexplained reasons eggs, bacon, and pancakes taste better at night. Do you agree?
This quote by Spurgeon makes me smile! Charles Haddon Spurgeon (1834-1892) was a self educated preacher. His teachings were both wildly popular and highly controversial. He did not follow the rules dictated by proper England. His transparent and humble heart paired with defiant faith is why I pour over his ancient sermons and quotes.
I cannot eat pancakes. The carbohydrate content within one cake is enough to trigger a sixteen hour paralyzing attack. But, when I get to heaven, I want to eat pancakes with the misbehaved Charles Spurgeon.
After a brutal week, we need a reason to smile. Pancakes for dinner sounds like the perfect way the end the day.
