Navigating chronic illness is lonely. The only people who actually understand are the ones you meet in online forums at 3 AM reading medical studies instead of sleeping. I've been there. Our "normal" friends and family try to understand, bless their hearts, but it's not the same. And don't even get me started on the Christian platitudes. If one more person tells me "God doesn't give you more than you can handle," I might lose it. (Spoiler: He absolutely does. That's why we need Him.)
